    At my wedding, I selected most music played. Some cool highlights-

    I walked down the aisle to a instrumental ochestra version of Better Man. The wedding party walked down to Instrumental ochestra version of Release. My wife walked down to Verve's BitterSweet Symphony.
    Walked back up the aisle to a Instrumental ochestra version of Iron Maiden's Run to the Hills.

    During Cocktail hour a music mix had - Just Breathe, Small Town (Acoustic), and then just a great mix of Classic Rock, and softer 90s alt rock played

    First dance we went with Aerosmith's - Dont wanna miss a thing.
    Music played during food was served/ eating- Cloe Dancer/ Crown of Thorns, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and one of the EV solo songs off Ukele Songs, cant remember which one I picked.

    Last song of the night, I gave DJ strict instructions- Room Lights get turned on full, and the last song was Yellow Ledbetter.


    I got many compliments with the music played from younger & older guests of the wedding.

    thin air was the obvious choice for us but i am not so sure about it. amongst the waves sounds pretty cool too.

    Our wedding was at the courthouse - me, my sweetheart and the officiant, that was it.

    No music at the time, but after? A shitload, just between us. Very sweet and intimate and personal.

    Throw Your Arms Around Me was played at home, afterward, along with other relevant tunes (such as Tool's H).

    (and I kissed him in at least 155 places :) )

    Memories...like the corners of my mind............

    My wife and I played to future days for our first dance. It was really nice. Now every time we hear the song we think of our wedding day. Our wedding cake had the stickman figures on top, but they were modified with a tux and dress.... Which worked well because I am a male and she is a female.

    My wife and I had 'better days' as our wedding song - 'the future's paved with better days' seemed right for us.

    My wife walked down the isle to a piano version of nothingman. We were introduced to Ed singing hide your love away and our 1st dance was to thin air. I can't believe it's been 2years already.
