    i got shut out too... couldn't get them during the regular presale nor at this one. you'd think they would find a better way to do this.

    those are pretty great seats (judging by 100 and 200 levels...i didnt look where the actual sections are)

    mine are in 336 row K. Kinda weak for a fan club presale seat but im happy to be in the building. Ill try to score something better at the regular onsale on friday but I will probably get shutout then and just be happy with my 300s :)

    Shut out for MSG2

    I was shut out as well for MSG2, did anyone notice how many are for sale on Ebay ? There are lots of them !That really annoys me, apparently they had no problem getting tkts & selling them for $$$$$.
  • slug420slug420 Posts: 316
    the thing that gets me is how many were for sale - and specific seats too - even before this presale. Which means they arent 10c tickets at all, because real 10c tickets cant be shipped since u pick them up at the box office and you dont know the seat until you get there.

    I can only assume these are the hundreds (or maybe thousands) of seats that get/got given out to people who knows people who know people or something.
  • got junk for I but it is junk inside the building, and MSG sounds pretty good all over anyway. Still have to deal with II on Friday.....NERVOUS!
    Boston Garden 5/25/06

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The answers are fatal......
  • Got tix for MSG 2 (my birthday, woo-hoo!) Shut out for MSG 1, keeping fingers crossed for Friday!
    I got both nights yesterday, didn't try the initial 10C sale. It was actually pretty easy.
    You obviously didn't try going to the Borgata a few years back. Tickets for that were INSANE! They sold out in all of 10 seconds. There are only like 2500 seats in there, and I am sure the house held plenty of tickets for high rollers. Prices were about $250 a seat on Friday, and about $400 a seat on Saturday on the scalping websites.
    Got MSG 2 in the original sale and got MSG 1 through ticketmaster. Ended up in the 300 section right above Mike's head. It's row A so that is at least sort of cool. I am just happy to be in there. I would sit under the stage if I had to.
  • slug420slug420 Posts: 316
    row A is awesome. i would love to have row A just about anywhere.
    song request? pearl jam rules? Celine dione swallows? free tibet? end the war?
    as for how to make it. My friend and I went to a sox game in seattle before the gorge shows in 06 and had front row seats in left field. We made the banner shown below (while camping the night before) as a kind of red sox/pearl jam banner to hold up at the game (I think a lot of east coast PJ fans were at the game since they were out there for PJ anyway).
    pjban.jpg
    Grabbed a drop cloth (for painting) at walmart. It was only like 5-10 bucks for a nice canvas one. I printed out a huge version of the image (stickman and text) that came out on like 30 sheets of paper. Taped them all together and cut out the logos with scissors and just used a little spray paint.
    The best part was when we got home, I built a simple 4'x6' frame, stretched the canvas over it like a painting and its now the centerpiece in my living room.
    That's pretty cool thanks for the info. Gonna try for something to McCready since he will be right under me and he is my hero!
    That would be funny......I like the way you think.
  • The fan club should have handled it. Sending an email to thousands of people asking them not to tell anyone the password is ridiculous. Everyone I know who's in the fan club said they only told close friends. Imagine all the people who let the password out and all the tickets snagged by non fan club members.
