Anyone want to do a Fantasy League? (2014 US Tour!)

EDIT: Going to keep the draft the same as last tour. Might switch it up in the future, but not now.

PM me: Your email that you want to use for drafting. (Try to use your google docs email becuase you will need to draft with googe docs!)


Rules/Details:

1. Everyone must pledge a prize that will be sent to the winner of their conference. Prize value should be about the same as a bootleg (~$20). No burnt copies of bootlegs. A pledge of "Winner's Choice of bootleg from Goods" is acceptable. I strongly encourage pledging a 10club $20 gift card! They are the easiest!

2. Roster of 10 Songs per Team. Songs will be drafted in a 'snaking' order in a separate email chain. You wil have 24 hours to pick a song after the person in front of you picks, (unless it's a weekend, then you have until Monday.) Drafting will start sometime next week or when the conference fills up.

3.12 teams per ‘conference’ assigned based on the order that you post in this thread. All of McCready conference is returning. B-) Going to need 1 volunteer per conference to 'lead' the draft and make sure everything goes smoothly.

4. Tiebreaker: Pick the number of songs that PJ will be played on the 2014 US leg.

5. Scoring: A song starts out with 0 Points. If it gets played, the song earns 13 points. Each time the song is played, it loses a point.

Scoring Example:
- If you have "Brain of J", and it gets played once, then not for the rest of the tour, it will be worth 13 points.
- If you pick "Fatal" and it doesnt get played, it earns 0.
- If you have "Do The Evolution" and it gets played at every show, it would end up with 1 point.

6. Objective: Pick the most number of songs that will only be played once. Person/Team with the most points win.

7. Songs are the song by title. For example, Slow Lukin = Lukin

8. "Tags" DO NOT COUNT. A tag is defined as a song that is partially played during/before/after another song. List of tags (but not limited to this list):
Modern Girl, Save It For Later, We Belong Together, Interstellar Overdrive, WMA, Another Brick in the Wall, Highway to Hell, etc. If you are unsure if a song/tag counts or doesn’t count, ASK or DON’T PICK IT. If someone asks about a song /tag and I determine it counts as a song after you have submitted your roster, you cannot change to that song, you should have asked before you submitted your roster.

9. Songs that are usually listed with a “/” COUNT as long as the entire song is played. Example list but not limited to: Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, Yellow Ledbetter/The Star Spangled Banner, etc. These songs count separately and can both be picked individually (Not together). If you are unsure if a song/tag counts or doesn’t count, ASK or DON’T PICK IT. If someone asks about a song /tag and I determine it counts as a song after you have submitted your roster, you cannot change to that song, you should have asked before you submitted your roster.

But I can see some issues when people are stuck with a choice between a super popular song off an album or a song that won't get played at all (i.e. Foxymop etc) from the same, simply because they have to pick a song off that album.

    I'm fine with the new draft style, I think its like a fantasy football team where you need a QB RB WR TE DEF etc...

    I think I'm gonna scrap the new draft and do it atleast one more time the 'old' way. If we want to change it up in the future, then we can do that.

    Just to be clear, the McCready conference hasn't started yet? I see the proposed start date was August 13 but I haven't seen any emails yet.
