******10c: A request regarding sticker and pin/badge/buttons for fall tour!******

I think it's pretty awesome that you've had city specific stickers for each show over the past few tours- and adding the badges/pins is great as well! I am personally hoping the city specific pins/badges/buttons to continue into the Midwest tour this fall!

My husband and I have been collecting all kinds of PJ stickers for a very long time and with the city specific stuff, it seems the number of people wanting these items is increasing dramatically as everyone wants to collect the full sets.

Please, please keep this in mind when ordering for the upcoming Midwest tour as demand will be VERY high for these items! Yes, it's just little "things" but it would make so many of us happy not to feel the need to resort to eBay when the supply at the shows run out! Trading the Europe 2014 stuff has been so much fun and I personally have met so many new, awesome fans from around the world. I am looking forward to helping friends during the fall tour and i know that many others feel the same!

I would much rather the band/10c make the money then auction site sellers....CRAZY EXAMPLE: This morning, a Belgium pin and sticker set went for $240 USD!!!! Face was only 4 euro! This is insanity! We all know that supply and demand (and crazy, deep-pocketed, insane buyers) drives that stuff up.

Please order TWICE what you think you'll be able to sell- because they will sell!!

I hope others agree will step up and agree/support this thread!!

Thank you for your consideration!
Makes much more sense...

  • Kelly that's a brilliant idea, ebay sellers shouldn't be getting the money and I know lots of Australians that will be keen to get the whole set. If there were left overs they would sell so quickly in the shop....or 10C could do mystery sticker packs....how awesome would that be.

    So I 3rd the motion :D

I saw that eBay thing this morning. I find it hard to believe that was a legit sale.

See I disagree... I think if someone is STUPID enough to pay $240 for a pin and a sticker, the ebay seller TOTALLY deserves the money. What moron pays that much for something so stupid? If you hit up the boards or the Facebook groups you can probably get it for a simple trade or close to cost. You wanna pay $240... go the fuck ahead!

The truth is these are so incredibly cheap for ten club to produce/order that even IF they had leftovers they could throw them into future orders or mystery box type stuff. It's next to nothing to order button sets like that from the companies that produce them. Like, cents. Which is another reason you just have to laugh that someone thinks they are worth $240!

Anyway, I agree... produce a bunch. I'll sure buy some in Denver!

It is incredibly, indescribably idiotic to pay that much for a pin and sticker set- even a harder to find one like Belgium. I was able to find 4 sets for cost or equal trades for our collection and friends. Like I said, extreme example. But the more there are available at the shows, the less they will be in demand on eBay and as time goes on, less people will try to buy things just to flip them if the demand is lower.
I've always felt like if you own something, you can sell it for whatever you want. I'm sure the person that put those up never dreamed it'd get bid up that high- but if the sale is legit and the buyer actually paid, I'm sure they were thrilled. Is the sale legit? Friends bidding it up? Is it just people bidding it up to not pay and screw the "flipper"? We will never know. There are some dumb people out there- and some of them have very deep pockets and would rather pay up then do the work to find it for a more reasonable price.

My point is, the more they make, more fans can get them easier. And 10c/the band already has to be making a huge profit on them. Their cost to make them is probably literally pennies with the bulk that they order in. And good for them!

Leftovers in the shop would sell easily- but that's not as fun as trading with other fans :)

Am I the only person who would love for them to go back to non-city or non-country sticker sets???????One cool set for the whole tour.
Life was so much simpler back in those days. :D

Same. I would never pay $200 for a record. Or 1,000 for 4 records. ;) I have a sealed Avocado and when I search ebay for completed items, it sometimes pains me to keep it and not sell it when I see $300+.

I cannot believe that someone really is willing to pay that much for a sticker and badge. I mean I love them, but come on! I was not a big fan of the original badges though. The inofficial fanmade ones were way more cool... But yeah, make more stickers and badges.

And yes - REISSUE YOUR VINYL, PJ!

it's another thing that is out of control.
