4 friends and I will go to nijmegen and werchter, I think it would be nice to meet up with some other fans (who will also go by car) and of course make enough stops (drinking and smoking).
off course we'll party through the night in holland, the doors at werchter open at 11 but them first groups aren't that spectacular. so we won't rush ourselves too much.


2 other friends aren't sure how to get from nijmegen to werchter
is there a direct train from nijmegen to belgium?

You can go by train from Nijmegen but you have 2 stops to change from trains on the way..

Nijmegen - Roosendaal
Roosendaal- Mechelen (B)
Mechelen - Leuven
Then from Leuven there are shutlle busses leaving to the festivalground...:)

My wife & I also going to both shows, but going by train to brussels first to drop off some luggage. We weren't able to get a room in leuven but I do need some help from anyone out there. I'm a retired nyc fireman looking to get in touch with someone from the lueven fire brigade. If anyone can forward an email address or contact #, I'm in need of a wheelchair for the day for the show. Thanks. Joe V.

With your Rock Werchter ticket, isn't the train free by using the belgium train network? Would a apply from Nijmegen to Leuven?

You can only use it if you 're having a combi-ticket for the 4 days.....if you're only having a dayticket you cant use it.....

Just checked it again you also can use the dayticket aswell...but you can juse the tickets for the Thalys...Eurostar...TGV or ICE -trains...

I think you just need to buy a ticket to the first train station across the border...but witch one that is i don't know...

Well Nijmegen and Roosendaal are dutch so i think you need to buy that one and then the one from Roosendaal to Mechelen ( Belgium)
