I once had a slight "obsession" with gossip magazines too . Yes, it is a waste of time, yes, there is nothing interesting about it at all. But somehow it sucks you in when you are letting it. I am "cured", but when I sit in a waiting room and there are gossip mags, I jump for them. And I get them as a little treat on long flights. I don't know why.
