If you could help a great Irishwoman out...

Ladies and Gentlmen of the Pearl Jam community...

I'm appealing to your wonderful spirits and asking if anyone has a spare GA for a great soul making her first trip to the US to see Pearl Jam.

Jenny is from the Emerald Isle and having booked her flight now needs GAs for St Paul, Milwaukee and Denver.

She's a great person making her first big trip overseas and has gone on pure trust without tickets.

Please share and if you can help with the ticket.

Thanks,

Tom

How do you mean? :) It's not a case of people only going for GA. It's just most people's first choice. So naturally, you start off looking for GA, if you think there's no chance of you getting that then you look for Reserved. Then if still having no luck and it's 5 minutes to the show you take whatever gets you in the building :D If you think you do have a chance of getting GA though, there's no point in buying a crappy seat off Ticketmaster ;)
  • Well if you are willing to "settle" :-) for a ten club reserved in Milwaukee, I might be able to help you out. I was going to PM you but I don't think you accept PM's as it doesn't give me the option. So, if you're interested, then send me a PM!

I may be mad but I'm taking a chance and holding out for GA at the moment! I figure if I'm going to spend the money on travelling over from Ireland then I've gotta try get GA :) Is the ADA section 122-128?

Totally agree. Tickets to two of the three shows wanted have been offered and turned down!

Well, I did explain....Particularly in my case, travelling from Ireland, I think it's pretty understandable that I'd like to be able to actually see the band as well as hear them :) I'm relatively new to all this, so have been following the advice of others. Perhaps you disagree and you are, of course, welcome to do so... You may not be spending $1000 on flights though...

Jenny, it's a horses for courses thing. You'd like GA and go for it. I'm really excited you're making this trip and know it's a very big deal for you.

I hope all your dreams for this trip come true whatever they are.

you can see and hear the band just fine from other areas of an arena. also, i'm sure plenty of folks are spending as much or more on their flights... i know i did. not sure what that has to do with GA tickets...

Jennycoyle, did you enter the lottery? Just curious if you entered and lost or didn't enter at all…Good luck.

No I wasn't in the lottery as at that point I wasn't even contemplating travelling to America. In the past few months, I've been trying to start a new life in a way and part of that involves doing things that I would never have imagined doing before. So I travelled to some of the European gigs and discovered that I could actually do it and that I didn't have to stay hiding within my comfort zone! Many of the people I got to know in that time encouraged me to think about pushing myself even further and going to America so eventually I took that leap and booked flights last week :) That's how I've ended up where I am now, on a search for tickets... (sorry for the slightly rambling explanation)

  • go for it i,m sure you,ll get the Ga somehow
