ive just registered but i cant see what the big deal is about the site?

Im not saying its not good or anything but WHAT makes it so good that all these people have registered on there?

Also, after a quick glance down the list for Tampa it looks like im the only one not from US or Canada who is venturing down there!!! ;)

I don't believe anyone is claiming it is a big deal. I would submit the concept is interesting because you can see where you are with respect to other 10C numbers who have reserved a pair of tickets to the show(s). The more people that sign up the more accurate the snapshot is. If a 1,000 members signed on as an example, you would have a pretty good idea of how close your seats would be. This needs vast participation for it to be worthwhile.

Aaah right you are, but like ya say it would need everyone who is a 10c member to sign up for the seating thing to give you a good idea wouldn't it? Like i say, i wasn't knocking the site or anything just curious at the enthusiasm from a few people that it was back up and running ;)

you're not the only one in Tampa don't you worry ;)

teh touring fan gave a better idea when the old one was up...because people fill hte seats they got at teh shows...so you get a pretty accurate idea of where you'll end up.

it won't really be valuable until the tour actually start since the old database is lost.

still, it lets me know for sure that I'll get shit seats 'cos no matter how not busy a show is, I'm still around the same spot, past the middle line..:(

I know seat allocation is irrelevant for the randomized seat selection at the ev shows, but it's still interesting info!

I wish those people that signed up to touringfans indicating they were going to certain shows would later indicate where their seats were! It seems very few people have.

    Le sigh.
