"Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?"...then called his unhappy followers "assholes" I have to give him credit for going outside the box...LOL!! Red Fox wouldn't even have done that. hahhahhaha.
i hope it brings him down, i dont personally care about him but he has very little acting skill...just watched him on "orange is the new black" and he is just terrible! No skill in acting outside of embarassing comedic scenarios.
Really? So you hope the fact that he made a slightly off color joke on Twitter means the end of his career just because you don't like his acting?
This is what our society has become. People (the media...) love purposefully misinterpreting things and blowing things out of proportion so they can kill people's careers.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"

Yep...it's pretty fucking sad. Everyone has to be all up in arms about something at all times.
It is a funny joke. Very, very bad timing, but in no way is it a career killer. The real story is these people just won't learn their lesson with that Twitter.
that story will get buried quicker than the story of Adam Levine saying "that's why i hate America" while on the air or the story of 4 kids blown up for playing soccer on a beach.
Gilbert Godfry lost his gig with Aflac when he tweeted a joke after the Japan tidel wave because Aflac is big in Japan. His career had long been dead before that, but that was a cushy gig.

agree. i don't really even see what the big deal is with the tweet. people get so over sensitive anymore. we've become a society out to 'catch' people doing stupid things. that being said i don't understand why people would post some of the things they do. not a lot of common sense.
You know, I get the gallows humor thing; it's a coping mechanism, plus we just say inappropriate shit at times. It happens, we've all done it.
And, I support Biggs' right to say whatever he wants.
People too have a right to respond to him as they want.
But to be a jerk about something you must've known would offend (unless you're either woefully dense or beyond a complete asswipe), he reacted to his reactions in dickish fashion.
pjhawks, I get what you're saying...but "catch" him? The whole purpose of tweeting seems to me to be caught. "Everyone, over here! Lookit what I said!" Isn't that the point of it?
Agreed about the over-sensitivity comment, but by the same token, what's happened to decency and circumspect, of realizing it's one of the lowest roads to take, to joke about something before the body parts have even been collected?

Social media, that's what happened. People now post the same things for the world to read that preciously they may have only said in jest to a friend. Many people have not figured out where to draw the line and they get burned.
What he said was totally something you'd say in a room full of buddies while having a few beers.

I don't even find his joke offensive. I think it was kinda funny, but more than that, harmless. The only ones it hurts is Malaysian Airlines. Pretty sure I made a comment about never flying Malaysian Airlines within about 30 seconds of hearing the news. God, people are so sensitive these days! He and everyone can say anything they fucking want!

If PJ don't have a problem with it then it can't be all bad.:)

It's interesting, the reactions to Ed's comments and his subsequent words...vs this.
Class vs....not so much.

but i don't expect intelligence from my fellow man anymore (and no, this isn't a defense of biggs or me even giving a shit about what he says...)
