Ocean

In her eye’s the oceans reflection reaches across my mind
Exposing everything my heart tries to hide.

Waiting for the moment to put my arms around her
to hold her as if I were the rising tide to see inside her eyes.

Waiting for the sun to open up the night standing on the oceans floor
Sea horses and dolphins greet me at the door.

I dive into the ocean breathing in the tide that rises in her eyes
touching the beauty that is everything her eyes have brought to life.

In my hands the sands of time that she has given to me
Falling one grain at a time to the bottom of the sea.
