10C Dancing in the aisle ...

I took my 15 yr to the show last night. Had perfect 10C tix in Row 3 of a side section, Mike's side. Since I didn't have a DD I had to take it easy on the drinks but this allowed me to REALLY enjoy the SHOW. During these wonderful few hours I made one stellar observation ... NONE OF YOU CAN DANCE !!! AND SHOULD YOU EVEN BE TRYING TO DANCE ? Copying Ed's hand/arm gestures while bobbing UP and DOWN is one thing but it should be a sin to be swiveling your hips. Anyway, it was unexpected entertainment and I thank you. Particularly Section 109. You rock !!! Happy hangover.

We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine
Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse

Some drunk guy (section 109 again) thought he was copying Ed's hand gestures but he was actually doing the Talking Heads forearm chop. I few of us looked at each other and laughed. You can't make this stuff up.

Have you seen her? So fine and pretty
Fooled me with her style and ease
And I feel her from across the room
Yes, it's love in the third degree
    Ooh, baby baby
Won't-cha turn your head my way?
    Ooh, baby baby
Ah come on! Take a chance
    You're old enough to

    Dance (Dance) the night away
Whoa-oh (Ah) Come on g-girl, dance the night away

In defense of my hideous dancing, I have to say it's very hard dancing in a 2 foot by 2 foot square, all the while trying not to jab your neighbor in the head with your elbow.

god... in philly i almost had to leave due to the guy in front of me

first of all he was about 5ft 1 but had his shirt off since he probably spends 6 hours a day in the gym to make up for the fact of him being a midget

then we he started rocking his air guitar while bending at the knees and thrusting his pelvis into the seat in front of him

    wow...

You obviously missed my point. I was not talking about how your kid would be going on tour, or something. I was refering to the wonderful example you set by drinking then driving. I am not being judgemental or telling you how you should raise your kid, but parents need to realize that they are the biggest role models for their children. If this upsets you, I'm sorry, just please think about it.

Actually means NO drinks. Sorry about the misunderstanding ...

We "tailgated" with Diet Dr. Pepper and a bunch of burgers off the Wendy's $1 menu. Threw a football too. It was cool. And I still have $$$ left today.
