Great show... Very different, by any means, from Leeds, but 't was really worth being there this evening too...

My personal highlights: cloe/crown and a super corduroy(maybe it's only my impression, but it was really super)

Sift everything, hold on to what is good!
  • Awesome show. Energy really built towards the end. Ed very emotional/angry during end of Daughter.

Currently stuck in the car park trying to get out and get home.

What a show, was gutted to miss Leeds but stored to have been here tonight. The band seemed to be really enjoying themselves and to see porch acoustic before off was great but the show that followed was even better than I'd hoped for. Thank you guys for another epic night with good peeps, come back soon please.

Another great gig! Randomly when in the queue a couple who queued with me in Leeds were here too, quite odd but nice to see friendly faces!

Shocking organisation in getting in, the school style escort was weird ... But the gig! Damn! Shocked to see Eddie do a solo song to open the day. Great set, great people (mostly) and some sun!

It was a great show! Sound was not that great where we were but the setlist flow was great and the band was TIGHT tonight! Very different from Leeds as expected. Wonderful to have Save you back on the track again tonight! Other highlights were Chloe/Crown, Wash, Brain of JFK and a wonderfully aggressive Daughter/War tag. We had a great time. Venue reminded me a bit about Wuhlheide but bigger and slightly less appealing (sorry!). But it was far better than I'd heard it would be.
However the walk to the venue from downtown MK was a LONG one and getting out was a mess too. But all in all this was a nice tour closer and how awesome was it to see Harrison junior appear in Rain?? Classic!
Until next time! Gotta get some sleep now

  • I am not going to compare this gig to the Leeds show... Porch acoustic was an awesome surprise, I got most of it on a video from way back. (Apologies to those that might offend but that had to be captured).
The main set list was great I enjoyed the slow start and change of tempo in the middle. The crowd towards centre stage looked like a rolling sea of arms (and legs). I held back today, getting too old to stand for 5-6 hours in front of the stage to secure a good spot. As a result I personally did feel a little out of the action. A few rows back and off to Mike's side the atmosphere was still great though, just not the same as when you are "amongst it".

I thought that the sounds quality was good throughout.

High points: Blood, Lukin, Crown of Thorns, the weather!

  • Epic gig! From Eddie at 4 in the afternoon lifting everyone's spirit and getting everyone to the front for OFF! By doing acoustic porch. Right through an amazing set list that brought the whole crowd together to finish off the tour with a stage full of musicians playing rocking in the free world! Really felt totally connected to the band especially so with Eddie during his passionate stop the war plea! Tonight will stay with me forever and so I believe it will with the band! Thank you Pearl Jam and all you fans at mk bowl tonight for making it special!! Good night

As others have said, a very different show from Leeds but awesome in its own way. Lots of up tempo songs, particularly near the beginning starting with Go got everyone moving. Footsteps and Chloe/Crown were beautiful calming contrasts to the faster songs.

I was really surprised and pleased to hear spin the black circle too. Yellow moon and the moon itself were both beautiful. Lovely night, great crowd, great start to my birthday :)

I was more excited about tonight than a kid at Christmas. I grew up less than 800 meters from the MK Bowl, and would listen, as a kid, to the likes of Queen, Bowie, U2 and Genesis play on that stage, from my bedroom window when I should have been sleeping. My first ever gig was Michael Jackson at the Bowl. Since then I've seen, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Black Sabbath, Eminem, Robbie Williams and Oasis on that stage.

But tonight, was the night I got to see the band I LOVE more than anything not living, play on THAT stage, and they played so well. I'm a 42 year old man, feeling like that 8 year old all over again.

    I can't sleep, I'm so pumped.

If Leeds was a cup final in which your team won, this was the regular season game in which something very magical and special happened that will never be forgotten by those who where there.

Sad to say this one didn't quite go my way. Was positioned next to a lot of people that were interested in doing nothing but pushing each other with oblivious, empty smiles on their faces. I like moshing, but it has to be with people that are connected with the music and considerate of those around them. These guys were just having a macho 'who can push harder' contest and it slightly hampered the first half of the show for me.

It was a shame because the first set was something of a dream for me. I love PJ's heavier, faster songs and this was running the gamut of them. And I did enjoy it a lot, but you also know you're not enjoyed Brain of J as much as you should, which is a real shame when you're hearing it for the first time. The band themselves were TEARING it up. Saved it by moving back in the first encore and having a great time enjoying the mellower second half. Crown of Thorns was mind blowing, Blood was seminal, and Ed's thundering lamentation of war was the highlight of the night.

    And Off! were awesome.
"Hey Eddie, great show-- fuck you!"

Can someone who was there elaborate on "Believe You Me"? Did they only play one verse tagged at the end of Crown, or did they play they whole song?

It was one verse. It wasn't really a tag on Chloe, it lead more into Betterman as it was just Ed lit up playing guitar and singing the first verse and then immediately he starts Betterman, which is again just him lit up and the crowd singing until all the band join in.

Fantastic gig. High energy and lots of really cool highlights. It wasn't quite as good as Leeds or Stockholm this year for me, but still one of the best shows I've seen. They've really notched it up a gear.

Help, Help - that's an error in the relay. They didn't play it.

Wow. I really was not expecting such a good setlist and more a festival type. Boy was I wrong.

Wash was incredible. Chloe a massive highlight. Nothing as it seems awesome. Saw spin the black for first time after 12 shows. But highlight for me was believe you me just sooo shocked he played it. Sounded so good.
Now it all comes down to numbers, now I'm glad that I have quit
Folks these days just don't do nothing simple for the love of it
