Video too big for youtube :(

I've got a sweet clip of the last half of Rockin in the Free World, picture quality is great but the sound is poor but you get to see Eddie 'collapsing' at the end and Jeff bouncing around like a lunatic but it's too big for youtube. What can I use to convert it?

    Upload it to a downloading site like http://www.megaupload.com or to video.google.com.

    OK, I'll try to upload it to Rapidshare but I'm gonna be away for a few days so it might not be till next week.

    what format is the file in now? avi? mpeg? also are you on a mac or a pc.

    you need to convert it to a divx/xvid/mpeg4 file. Video dimensions should be 320x240.

    well then you can use either nandub or vidomi (or any other divx/xvid encoder), encode it to divx or xvid at 320x240.

    When i have that problem, i use microsoft movie maker which comes with your computer. just drag and drop the clip and do a save to computer. you can pick the resolution and file size you want. just choose something under 100MB and it should be ok for youtube. it saves it as a wma file. only thing is i know that works for my digital camera files that are mpg. i am just guessing it should work for avi also. good luck.
