Looking at some old photos yesterday
I was so pretty back then.
I looked so alive.
I had direction,
I had purpose
Life had meaning,
Life was hard,But life was good.
Unblemished for wear.
I still seem young.
Still act young.
No longer young
No longer pretty,
Kids are grown,
And so alive
Life is good,
They'll find direction.
One day a purpose.
Life will bring meaning
It may be hard,But good.
I hope they'll live to the fullest
what life has to offer.
And not look back one day,
And only say," I'm still Alive"
