why no recording devices aloud???

I have tix to both sydney concerts and was wondering why, if PJ don't mind still cameras, small recording devices, it states on the ticket they aren't allowed? is it just printed on all tickets ( other bands included) or has Australian venues and laws just got there head stuck up there arse?

    I think all tix have that on them. I have been able to get my small digital camera into the show in montreal and hartford with no problem. Anything on PJ's approved list should be fine.

    Chicago was fairly easy on security at least my line. Had I had one, I could have brought in any taping equiptment I wanted. They even had the metal detector wands, and didnt really even use them.

    Although the band allow it, not all venues do. Best to check with the venue as we all know PJ don't mind :)

    thanks for the heads up. So it says the same on North America tix?

    Yes. Pretty much all tickets over here have that written on them.
