Self Titled/Avocado sealed fakes?

Like an idiot I just bid on a sealed ST/Avocado. Is there a way to tell that it's fake from the OG if it's sealed?

I'm not happy about all the bootleg versions floating around. If you have some insight I'd love to hear it.

    I think the cover is glossy while the original is not. Pearl Jam on the spine is also smaller. They should have to state in the description if its an unofficial release. The ones I have seen state that its blue vinyl.

    Thanks! I know what they are supposed to tell me…

    I can't tell glossy or not from the pics MedozK/Silent Bob. I guess when I get, if I get, the album I will check that and my real one REAL close.

    Sucks that there isn't a sure fire way to tell a fake from a real one from an internet pic…

    maybe ask the seller to verify the serial number?

    $185 for a sealed copy. That is the cheapest I have seen these go for in months!

    I saw the same auction and had the same concerns... these seem like some good suggestions. You could get screwed but you get a gem if it's an original.

    They didn't have stickers or numbers on them. Mine is from 10C, still sealed.

    The "pearl jam" on the spine is reversed on the bootlegs. If that helps.

    the blue has a much thinner jacket
    the blue on cover is darker and the yellows are more orange
    they seem to be coming out of Spain and Germany
    anyone selling a real one seems to address it as such, just ask them

    Thank u very much foodshop65! I did ask them and it looks all legit! There will be scandalous people though so I have to beware.

    Italy produces massive amounts of Bootlegs too.

    I received my sealed S/T Avocado today in the mail and it is the real deal Holyfield!

    I'm happy now!
