I think if he were to create and market Rand and Palin action figures, create a Dynamic Duo II Super Hero video game staring Radical Radon Rand, and Uber-Plasma Palin and throw a law suit at Biden he might have a shot at it.

Rand Paul won't ally himself with the Tea Party if they split into a third party. He's already sounding less radical and has even agreed with certain democratic ideas and has talked about 'reaching across the aisle'. He's a libertarian and he cozied up to them when running for Senate, but he has moved away from them lately. At least that's how I see it.
If I saw a Sarah Palin action figure, i would blindly (because my eyes would spontaneously combust upon viewing said 'doll') remove every one from the shelf and burn them while praying that they did not begin to speak in Palinisms. . :D

If he was a smart man, which he is, he will have nothing to do with Sarah Palin.

I can't imagine any politician dumb enough- and there are some very less than brilliant politicians out there- who would align themselves with Sarah Palin. Her days of gory glory are over... although she will always have her trail of devoted followers, poor souls.
