    Thanks everyone for the support! I'm done with my first round of chemo and so far I feel great. I'm home now which helps a lot and I no longer have pain. The down side is I've lost some of my sense of taste but at least I'm eating again. And putting weight back on slowly. I've started working back into more pearl jam and just enjoying whatever random thing comes on which is nice.

    Awesome tenzing! Keep fighting that battle and I'm sure you'll do good. I heard a little rumor that a little green herb works wonders for the taste problem....

    Hmmmm... I know it works well for the appetite and pain. I'll have to try it for the taste. I don't really like the taste of it to begin with so maybe it won't be so bad now.

    Six days after chemo and absolutely no problems! A little taste loss is all.... But I'm so irritated. I feel great with lots of energy and appetite and no pain except my arm is super sore where they removed my special IV line a couple days ago. Ok, rant over.

    i don't know any of you guys, but after reading so many of your posts over the years i kind of feel like i do.

    man this makes me sad. i just lost a dear friend to stomach cancer last month, you guys who are fighting the fight are my heroes. I truly wish you a speedy recovery and the easiest of roads to travel in this fight.

    as my friend joel used to say, no one fights alone. and he was right. his fight became our fight. good vibes and healing thoughts and best wishes to you guys. please keep us posted.

    Thanks gimme! It's times like these when you truly know that you are not alone in the fight. And everyone around me helps more than they'll ever know. Thankfully I have a very treatable cancer and so far the treatment has been a breeze.

    Thats real positive news im really happy for you, :D for my aunt its not so good news but we can apparently prolong it but it isnt possible that a miracle could happen.. :((

    Omg!! I haven't had much pain associated with this thing but Monday they gave me a booster shot designed to increase my white blood cell count. So today my pelvis, hips and femur are killing me! My bone marrow is producing so much white bold cells that my bones feel like they are exploding! But my other issues are fading so besides the intense pain I'm doing great

    hmmmm.....was it neulasta? I had to get those shots. I felt no effects from them but i was shocked that each shot was like $7000! hope your pain subsides!

    Yeah, neulasta... Pain is gone now, only lasted about twelve hours. I would say it was worth it if my white count is helped. But it wasn't a fun twelve hours even with the Claritin.
