Milton Keynes Question

ChazzChazz Somerset, UK Posts: 1,093
So, having withdrawal symptoms after Amsterdam, I weakened at the weekend and bought Milton Keynes tickets :). Does anyone have any details on what time the different acts will be on stage? I notice on the National Bowl info page that there is a curfew of 10.30pm. Not sure what time I will make it to the venue so any info would be great Thanks

Here you go from the Live Nation website:

Please see below some information regarding the Pearl Jam concert at Milton Keynes Bowl on Friday 11th July 2014:

    EVENT TIMES

Gates open at 14:00 and the music will start at 16:00. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and OFF! Will be the support acts.

Pearl Jam will be last on, finishing at around 22:30.

    TRAVEL INFO

Located on the west side of Milton Keynes, The National Bowl is a stunning, open-air grass amphitheatre with a large, flat area in front of the stage and excellent views of the performances from all parts of the arena.

The National Bowl, Watling Street (V4), Milton Keynes, MK5 8AA

The closest train station is Milton Keynes Central, a 20-minute walk to the Bowl. From the station, exit right and follow signage for the event. Allow plenty of time for your journey to and from the train station. Travel times may be longer than expected due to the number of travellers attending the event, as well as other events taking place on the same weekend.

The railways will be operating additional late-night services from Milton Keynes Central to London Euston. Additional trains will stop at Milton Keynes Central Station for the outward journey from London.

Car parking is available as an upgrade to any event ticket; just contact Ticketmaster directly to organise your parking pass.

Various car parks are available within the immediate vicinity of the Bowl. Follow signs for official National Bowl Car Parks. Please use car parks provided, as illegally parked cars will be towed away.

Take the hassle out of your travel with Big Green Coach, the official coach travel partner. You may buy coach service either separately or together with your entry ticket.

Day and weekend services are available from 39 locations around the UK. All coaches are timed to arrive before the music starts and depart once it ends, so you won’t miss a moment of the action.

There are no campsites within the venue. If you wish to camp, there is a campsite locally within easy reach of Milton Keynes Bowl. Find full details here: http://www.citycamping.co.uk

a couple of (hopefully not too stupid questions): is it allowed to bring water or soft drinks in big pet bottles? is it allowed to smoke at the Bowl? is there a shuttle between the railway station and the bowl?
