the stillness can be frightening
though I know it will not last
in the midnight fog I see clearly
for what could be the first time
the moon sits at the end of Shady Lane
waiting for you,
to set it free into the void

a satellite of sorrow
feeling the pull of never
forever tied to the mother ship
affecting our tides,
the push, the pull,...

and blood gathers at my feet.
