In my experience, the 'flexfit' hats are more flex than fit. I have one, and it's all stretched out. Hold out for a fitted one if you really want a hat...
I picked up the Green Sasquatch hat in the store. I usually wear a 7 3/8, but the 7 1/2 fits just fine! I don't think I could have gone down to 7 1/4.
