Last time I was in Wembley arena was some time ago.
I had standing tickets. Same set up as for PJ.

However we were not allowed drink into the standing area and only seated tickets or in the area where the drinks were sold could it be consumed.

Is this still the case?

don't know but they did that in Dublin and Prague I think..which is really daft since they hand out water at the front anyway..

Handing out water is just pure Health & Safety issue!!!! I guess they don't want tons of people squished together throwing beer about, etc. Pretty damn hard to hold your drink in the pit! Not a bad idea if you ask me!

at the front yes, but further back you're not so squashed, no problem.

idiots throwing their beer on the other hand, yeah, they're a damn nuisance.

if someones going to pay the extortionate prices these venues charge for beer and then throw it into the crowd then they really are an idiot.

I can't imagine too much beer lobbing at PJ....they're not Oasis!

So can any Londoners or recent visitors to Wembley arena confirm if this house rule still exists. Or indeed if it is a house rule or by the choice of the artists/Act

saw Springsteen there last November. the standing area was split into two parts and i was in the back one, but beer was allowed. no idea if it was in the front part...
