Figures that the euro show I want to see is the last to post its info. Anyone have any idea where this will be? Venice perhaps?

  • There's nothing confirmed yet. But here's something that local newspapers took for granted:
there will be a festival called Heinekn jammin festival, this will be i guess the 10th edition. this year it won't be at imola autodrome as usual but in parco san giuliano in mestre (next to venice). The festvial will last 4 days, since 14 until 17 of june. The line up will be announced on 8th february and the promoter is milano concerti, the same promoter of Perarl Jam last year concerts in Italy. Milano concerti belongs to Clear channel. Today a newspaper said that pearl jam and aerosmith will play there for sure, while the rumours about rem and red hot chili peppers were false.

aside the fact that they're playing a festival anyway, that gap cannot be removed as it's the Orchestra Pit (i.e. there.s a big gap underneath..not safe to have people on top)

Are you sure about that gap? In 2000, I was in the first few rows and didn't see any gap "underneath." The security guards, who were a bit excessive in #'s, were walking back and forth around the O Pit area...and yes I understand that there is a difference b/w the weight of a few guards and 3-5 rows of people.

I have not heard the Verona 2006 show yet, so I don't know if Ed commented/complained about that huge gap as he did in 2000. Does anyone know if he brought it up in 2006?

anyone who bought tickets last year from them knows how much ticketone charges to send tickets overseas? are they going for the complete rip off like Spain €40  ) or a reasonable one like Austria (€6ish)?

nevermind, I found it: €20...fuck that!

can yo pick them up on the day otherwise? (my italian is extremely bad..and the english site is not much in english)

I believe my friend got us tix for Verona and Milan thru ticketone.it.
And we picked them up at the venue cause they charged too much for shipping.
So yes, you can pick them up at the day of the show.

Now, just a little preview of what this place looks like:
