This isn’t for someone else
this is for you and for everyone

I don’t want to see you get one more plastic surgery
you’re beautiful the way you are naturally!

I don’t want to see you dye your hair
unless it’s because you just love the new color

I don’t want to see you pretend to fit in
when you could be happier outside

I don’t want you to feel you’re not good enough
you’re more than enough now!

I don’t want you to change because it’s expected
I want you to change because you feel internally compelled to

I don’t want you to forget your own soul
I want you to remember it!

I don’t want you to stay with someone because you’re afraid of the opinions of others
I want you to be with someone because you can’t imagine life without them!

I don’t want you to feel old or worn out
I want you to feel experienced and wise

I don’t want you to feel hurt by other people
I want you to choose the best people to keep you company

I don’t want anything bad for you
I want your soul to swim in goodness and love

    Of course! You, my friend, are definitely a part of "everyone". :)

    I wrote this while thinking of wanting someone specific to be true to himself but then I realized this was completely universal. "Everyone" (including me!) needs to feel big love in this way. To be true to themselves in their most authentic form, to exude themselves in a genuine way and feel that in that form, they are lovable.

    To be unveiled, pure spirit, and LOVABLE!
