This thread is hysterical.

It's classic Lost Dogs. Anyone that posts something the OP doesn't like is a troll and questioning his character whether it's clearly an inquisitive post or not. This is then used as an excuse by others as to why both the OPs actions are fine and others are evil. Then another chimes in that they know the secret and are very cool bc of it but won't share. Then the accused trolls are pointed out to be at worst bumping the thread. Then, it's all used to somehow say Facebook is good and we all suck. Yet, ironically the item in question obviously hasn't been traded there either. Then someone else chimes in and says how much they are enjoying all this (which funny enough is probably the most genuine statement in the entire thread).

It's a fucking band message board. The OP can do what they like. Responders can respond how they like. And not a one of us knows why and what anyone else is doing or their motives. Answer the question, don't answer the question, who cares? I'm sure even the folks asking won't have their lives changed one way or the other. Why it's top secret is anyone's guess and certainly the OPs prerogative.

Bottom line - you really can't blame people for being curious. It is our nature. If you don't want to appease the curious, so be it. But it does make for an entertaining thread.

Good luck in the search. I hope we all find what we're looking for.

The only thing I've seen as a clue about what this item is was the comment that it being an Olympic Platninum single wasn't that far off the mark. That made me stop even trying to guess!

Anyway I said I had one for trade and might consider it, no pm received, so he must not really want one. I'd only trade it for a super rare mystery item anyways...

I had no clue this thread would turn into a mess like this. Thankfully the many people I've chatted with have respected my wishes. And I'd like to thank them for that. I don't understand why it's turn into this big ordeal,but it has.
