I think maybe they should go down to a bi-monthly newsletter. In all fairness, there can't be that much to say every month, no?
I'm ok when they send out one out and it basically says we don't have any news this month. I like that better than silence.
10club newsletter once a month is great. All their social media pages are pretty much active each & every day with news, events & goodies. Plus the amount of posts & updates here from fans keeps things running pretty good.
Announcement that they are switching the annual single to be the newsletter delivered sometime between now and December 2020 and posting rights for analog members only
Osaka, Japan (2/21/95), San Diego (7/10/98), Las Vegas (10/22/00), San Diego (10/25/00), Las Vegas (6/6/03), Las Vegas (7/6/06), Los Angeles (7/9/06), VH1 Rock Honors (7/12/08), Ed Solo (7/8/11), Ed Solo (11/1/12), Los Angeles (11/23/13)
Announcement that the monthly newsletter is discontinued.
Oh it is going to be way bigger than that....they are actually going to announce that the 10th is discontinued...calendars will be changed to reflect this--the ninth of every month will be followed by the 11th. Sorry for those of you (all 3.2% of the population) who now won't have a birthday. The leap year kids are all mumbling "finally" under their breath.

I keep seeing "clarification of membership levels" as one of the hopes/prospects for this newsletter. I have a good hunch the only thing will be a mention that the single is discontinued. There is nothing else. Analog is everything it was before just now without the single. Nothing is going to replace it. Everything else about digital and analog levels stays the same.
They've already clarified it right on the website. https://help.pearljam.com/hc/en-us/articles/205285910-Membership-Levels shows the differences now. The only thing that changed is they aren't producing an annual single. Analog gets the shirt (or as they call it limited edition membership item coupon code), a Bootleg coupon and printed copy of the Deep magazine.

Huh. Well then... everyone loves paying the same amount and getting less, right? I guess they figure inflation takes care of this. And I guess we have to admit it does... considering their shipping costs. If they aren't replacing the single with anything, I'm actually inclined to think they really are doing this because they were losing money on the analog memberships, or just breaking even maybe.

Yeah, I'm not sure it's worth it anymore, particularly as I haven't been able to make a show in 5 years. My renewal is November so I have a lot of time to think about it.

I hardly use the bootleg codes cause I like buying the CDs on the shows I go to. So it’s $20 for a shirt....hmmmmm. That’s actually not a bad value if they put effort in. But I’d say only 2 years had decent member gifts. Will be a tough choice.

And they don't let you share the codes, right? .... In case it comes up again for you, may I suggest that you find out which boot someone else would like, download it, and share it with them?

So shirt, magazine and bootleg coupon for $40 at the Analog level. Plus tickets, website, PJ radio access and contest eligibility, etc etc. They need to send out an official word on this for clarification. Would prefer not to assume anything.

My question is now: Do international members still have to pay $ 50 instead of $ 40, even though we will not get any holiday singles anymore?
