Seriously, I've been listening to this boot all day. Such fun, such exhuberance, such joy in playing. Moments like "Hawaii 78" were beautiful as well.

  • It's great to listen to because Eddie sounds like he's having a blast.
"This town deserves a better class of criminal... and I'm gonna give it to them."

  • The more I listen to it the more I believe it to be the best boot from 2006(tied with Bern). Ive heard a few say that Ed was wasted. Was he? If so he did a damn awesome job and was having a hell of a time. He seemed to be in a great mood that night. Who knows. So, yes I most certainly think its underrated. So many great versions of songs. Nearly half the setlist consists of the best versions of a song.
My first PJ show to witness was at Bonnaroo. How is that for lucky?
  • I have to say, this is one of the best! The guys just seem so relaxed, yet on point. How about Yellow Led!!!!! One of the best I've ever EVER heard, and Hawaii '78 gives me chills every time (maybe I am biased as I live in Hawaii). It's just Ed's voice when he sings it- so respectfull. Nice to see people enjoying this show.

Is it better then Newcastle, Australia '06?

FYI three dudes started a petition to get PJ to add their city to the Australian tour...Eddie somehow got ahold of the petition which got 2500 signatures and played the show. The band was right on and every tune was amazing...

PJ23 dropped the show off in my mailbox one day and I suggest you guys do the same...listen to it then drop it off in another fans mailbox who will appreciate it. haha

Honolulu's easily up there with Newcastle :)
I love listening to Honolulu as much as 'my' show ;)
  • My girlfriend and myself went to the show and had the time of our lives, plus Eddie did throw part of the cake on my girlfriend. No lie! She still has one of the bday candles that were on it! If anyone has a copy of the show on MP3 or would burn a copy for me that would be great!

For the past month I have been upset that I wasnt able to go to the VIC show since I live in Chicago, but i wouldnt give up seeing Pearl Jam in Hawaii any day of the year!

Please pm me if they someone could send me the HAWAII 06 show! I have a HAWAII 92 show if someone is interested...
