Where is everybody staying in Moline?

Hey there,

I was hoping to find a hotel close to the venue but from what I've seen all the hotels are 3 to 4 miles away. Where is everyone staying? Has anyone here been to the venue already and know a hotel close to it?

    Ya, it seems like the close hotels are all booked up, Stoney Creek and the Radisson both less than a half mile away. The Radisson is taking names for a waiting list in case someone cancels. Probably wouldn't hurt to do that.

    There's a Economy Inn less than a mile away but I believe the reviews were pretty horrible on it, but it is close.

    Most the other's I looked into were about 3 miles away like you said. We booked at the Best Western Airport which has good reviews , but it's right at 3 miles as well.

    Good luck, maybe some rooms will open up between now and then. Or..... maybe some locals know of some others that I may be missing.

    I got a Super 8 for like $48 that's 3-4 miles away, not the best reviews but I was just looking for a cheap place to stay since I'm coming in from Virginia. I'm going to keep my eyes open for something better/closer, but not betting on that happening.

    There is a Holiday Inn in downtown Rock Island which is next to the District that has many bars in it. It would be about a 10 minute drive to the iWireless.

    I am booked at the Super 8 Moline 4 miles south of the venue for $50. We are driving up from Memphis.

    I'm considering buying tickets on Stubhub and driving to Moline from the Detroit show. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm trying to figure out what to spend on tickets. It looks like the arena holds 12K. Is there a bad seat in the house or should I shell out the $ for better seats? This would be my 13th PJ show and I've never been anywhere close to the stage. Still debating, but trying to talk myself into this. To try to actually contribute to the thread, just booked a room at the Fairfield Inn 3 miles away. It was in the $120s with taxes. Lost the lottery and have seats in the back and upper level to Cincy and Detroit respectively. I can not wait until October!!

    Booked at the Radisson here. Looks like they jumped the price after the initial rush of reservations. I booked on 5/30 for $169
    think I'll throw these pills away...

    Looks like they have a book early and save deal going on but it is non refundable.
    Brand new hotel as well. I don't think it is even built yet.

    I think you would like the Holiday Inn in Rock Island. It's across from a place called The District that has many bars for about two blocks. So after the concert you can have a couple of cocktails and then stumble back to your room.
