oooh. Take that back. Technically it was Why Go at Lolla 92, Orlando. But it was early in the day, hot and far back so I usually don't even count that.
Oh my God, Dude... It's like my biggest fantasy to have attended that concert.. How was it??
Well in retrospect, it was pretty friggin great. At the time, of course we had no idea what we were witnessing. RHCP were already several albums in and huge, so that was great and they were really the main draw. PJ was definitely getting big and SG was great. But the smaller stages had STP and Rage too. On the other hand, it was Orlando in the middle of summer and we were all broke 18 year olds. Would certainly love to relive that experience with wisdom of my age and more financial options too!

Yes. Visiting my brother in Mukilteo (from Minnesota) and we heard of a free show down by space needle. Love ensued.

I'm believe it was Oceans...unfortunately, no set list for that night in Orlando (april 24, 1992) and it was over 22 yrs ago. I do remember being in awe from the start. I had been listening to ten nonstop and have never felt like that before when hearing music.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...
