The show's a week away, and I have not seen any information posted. Is there not going to be one?

    Yeah. I am coming from Seattle by myself and would love to meet up with people beforehand and party. SB is an awesome town.

    I'm coming from Virginia, and planning to hit "ledbetter beach" No shit, it HAS to be a cool beach!!!!!!!!

    Seriously though...if turns out that there is not going to be an official one maybe we can arrange for an informal meeting place (bar or restaurant) before the show to pre-party? Any suggestions on a place from any local SBers?

    ITS FUNNY BECUZ EVERYONE OUT HERE IN CALI IS EXXXCITED ABOUT THE SHOWS YET THERES NOT MUCH HYPE LIKE THE REST. :D ITS KINDA GOOD THOUGH. AS FOR SB.....THERE WAS A PLACE IN 2003 WHERE EVERYONE MET UP B4 THE SHOW. I DONT REMEMBER THE NAME BUT MAYBE SOMEONE CAN HELP......

    Bump. It's getting closer now. :) Any hook ups? I had written down from an older thread that Brophy Bros was a good place for lunch and dinner; and Joe's and Chad's were good bars. Any other suggestions anyone? I've never been there before, so have no ideas. :)

    Are there any local people looking at this thread? Somebody local just needs to say a place and all of us out of towners will just roll there. I think this show has potential to be a highlight of the tour. The venue and town are awesome.

    state street is the main drag and where all of the shopping and bars are located.

    I think I can help out, I went to UCSB and the places I would recommend are Joes, Dargens, Or the James Joyce. Joes has an old diner feel to it, stiffest drinks in town is its claim to fame. Dargens or is it Dargins?....is one of many irish bars in town, has pool tables and a good atmosphere. The James Joyce is my favorite place with peanut shells on the ground, good drinks, darts, a pool table....another Irish bar!!! These are some suggestions. We could also do Madisons on State street. If we are lookin to get a group of people together I would recommend Joes or Dargens!!! WOO HOO!!!!!
