oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Oh, and I've got two series of Northern exposure on dvd. Love it. T.v's been crap ever since - apart from 'Brass eye'.

I think it was a great film also has some amazing scenery ... and I'm not just talking Heath and Jake :o (I know how your two minds work  ) ... but don't know if all the hype and how much of the story you may already know will make a difference seeing it now.

EDIT: Byrnzie end of March ... you can join us in Dublin then! :D
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Good afternoon all.

Helen - 24 is starting as a double episode on sunday and a double episode on the monday (4 hours of 24 will be so cool) Don't know if they're showing it here that way but i usually just download it if they don't.

Shameless - gotta love that show - kids i work with all love it too so i usually end up getting to watch it - just started again this week i think - it's so hilariously awful.

Didn't know they're starting Blade - the series ..... should be worth a wee look to see if it's any good! I don't think i've ever watched the bravo channel (first time for everything).

So I'm still obssessed with Love reign - was flicking through channels after the horrible soccer match that was Chelsea V Wycombe and found Quadrophenia on ITV4 which was pretty cool - although so dated i didn't realise half the soap stars from england are in the thing .....

It wasn't until i watched it last night that i realised how many familiar faces and voices there are - i placed almost all of them.

Most get my hands on the album though - don't have it - will go see if i can download it - i'm sure i'll find it quick enough.

    I've had enough of living
    I've had enough of dying
    I've had enough of smiling
    I've had enough of crying
I've taken all the high roads
    I've squandered and I've saved
    I've had enough of childhood
    I've had enough of graves...

    OR

    Why should I care?
    Why should I care?

    Girls of fifteen
    Sexually knowing
    The ushers are sniffing
    Eau-de-cologning
    The seats are seductive
    Celibate sitting
    Pretty girls digging
    Prettier women.

    Magically bored
    On a quiet street corner
    Free frustration
In our minds and our toes
    Quiet stormwater
    M-m-my generation
    Uppers and downers
    Either way blood flows.

    Inside outside
    Leave me alone.
    Inside outside
    Nowhere is home.
    Inside outside
    Where have I been?
Out of my brain on the five fifteen
Out of my brain on a train.

On a raft in the quarry
    Slowly sinking.
On the back of a lorry
    Holy hitching.
    Dreadfully sorry
    Apple scrumping.
    Born in the war
    Birthday punching.

    He man drag
    In the glittering ballroom
    Greyly outrageous
    In my high heel shoes
    Tightly undone
    They know what they're showing
    Sadly ecstatic
    That their heroes are news.

    Inside outside
    Leave me alone.
    Inside outside
    Nowhere is home.
    Inside outside
    Where have I been?
Out of my brain on the five fifteen

Edit: Oh, and i forgot to mention I have the original 'Odds and Sods', and 'Meaty, beaty, big and bouncy' on vinyl! :)

2nd Edit: And i read the Keith Moon biography 'Moon the Loon' when I was 17 years old. Coz i'm well hip me! :)
