I don't know what's going on with our sharing folders. Sorry. Maybe your versions a different version to mine.

I'm lost as well.. because I DID get stuff from you before! Do you just want to delete the file from your end?

    What version do you use?

    I don't know. I'll check when I get in. I think it's version 8.
  • Can't upload my pictures :o

I knew there'd be something wrong when my brother couldn't figure it out. Thought it was his computer but I can't do it here either  . I installed everything and there was an autodetect thing and connected the camera to the computer and when I click on the F drive it keeps saying there's nothing there :(

Have to go into a camera shop or something and sort it out.

    Morning all,

How are all my favourite PJ people????

I'm fairly good today....only problem is that the missus' sister says she can't look after the baby as she's finding it too tough...which is fair enough...but means, if I can, I'm gonna have to take mondays off to look after her (which I'd be delighted to do) but the only bummer is that I'll lose a days wages and we've just been tryin to do some creative accounting to make ends meet.......well the long and short of it is.....I think sky sports is gonna have to kick the bucket in Chez Al :( Ah well, we're given obsticales to overcome them :D:D:D:D

Anyway, its tuesday I've got a shitty boring meetin in a bit but I'm feelin GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDD BABBBBBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
    I need a coffee!

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

do you have anything like Flexible Working Rights over in Ireland?? i was sorta in same boat as you when we had our first.. i wanted to come in later to work so i could drop my wee one off at nursery... at first my boss wouldnt allow me but then i pointed out the new laws and he relented... prick!

anyhoo... thats a bit of a bummer but isnt it more financially viable for you to put the little one into a nursery for one day? Nurseries are good for kids... both of mine went from age of 6 months for 3 mornings a week and it helps them interact with other kids whereas my sisters kids never went to any nurseries and no shes a fucking brat who cant learn to share her toys with my kids

    skysports..... NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! you cant!!!!!!!!! :D

tell the missus to give up something as well!!!!!!

My boss is fairly cool, and I think I am entitled to parental leave, which is what I'm looking at but its unpaid, but will have to see. Haven't really looked into the nursery thing but I know generally childcare in this fair land is like everything else....fooking expensive!! Will look around tho :)

in fairness to the missus, she's gonna give up some stuff....I do still have PremPlus paid for the season so not too bad :D

Cheers for the support tho...appreciate it ;)

Great :( well everything seems installed properly but the computer doesn't seem to be reading the drive or recognising the camera or something :( . What the fuck do I do now??? I suppose a camera shop can put it on a disc or maybe they can upload them or something... ahhh, I dunno.

    Hi Al!

    Dunky.. you're repeating yourself!

Al... you'll adjust to a cut in wages... no worries...

Dunk is right when it comes to getting kids at nurseries... don't know how expensive it is in Ireland. In London, it's horrendous. When Gabrielle was really little we paid £650/month (and that was 11 years ago!)
  • Sorry Al :( . That's shite!

As Dunky said.. as long as you can see the pics on your camera, feel relieved!

Do you have the software required installed (some cameras need special software, especially if its a bit older)...?

I'm sure it won't be that big a problem....jesus we coped when I lost a job for three months.....we'll get through this and to be honest the thought of spending a day with the baby is really exciting :D

Childcare is soooo expensive and there was a debate recently on the radio where people were saying if you don't spend a fortune on childcare you don't care about your kids  what a crock of shite. Someone was payind a relative €50 a week and got panned for it. Well I've got 2 relatives looking after my child and I pay them nothing cause they wouldnt take anything (do buy them pressies every so often) but I certainly do care about my child
    Sorry Al :( . That's shite!

    Cheers hells :)

Are you sure you've connected your camera to a p.c using a lead H?
My boss said the other day that he thought if he placed his mobile phone next to his computer which he'd downloaded the software on, that his photo's would automatically begin transferring onto his p.c. The fucking doughnut!

Some people have been reminding me that i haven't shared them yet :p

on http://www.flickr.com you can upload I think 8 or 9 at a time.

Oh anyone who saw PJ in the UK in '00 and didn't get the poster (or anyone else who may want it though it isn't the best looking thing) http://www.bigpopposters.com have s/n (run of 2700) ones in the Ames sale of the century for $35 plus shipping. Just ordered one so I can get it framed with my ticket to sit along side this years one. Also has the Paris, Verona and Milan from '00 (run of 700)
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
