Heineken Helen wrote:Did I mention I went to a convent school???
Oh poor Caz and Heather were staying in a conventand had to be back by 11 each night or the nuns would wait up to let them in
Heather's great. I didn't realise that I had mentioned to her about my not having a poster and when I went to the merch stand she was there and told me she was actually getting one for me cos she remembered me saying it. How sweet!
Haha I went to a convent school as well... Loreto Convent, Coleraine. There's like 10 Loreto schools in Ireland methinks.23/08/2006 - Dublin; 29/08/2006 - Arnhem; 30/08/2006 - Antwerp; 18/06/2007 - London; 18/08/2009 - London
Convent school wasn't so bad. Most of the nuns were ancient and kept themselves to themselves.. We only had 2 teaching nuns, and one of them taught biology.....
Learning about reproduction was fun! Actually, now that I think about it.. she also gave the girls sex-ed in first year! :eek:23/08/2006 - Dublin; 29/08/2006 - Arnhem; 30/08/2006 - Antwerp; 18/06/2007 - London; 18/08/2009 - London
That better mamma red. I think we finished quite early like maybe 5am cos I had a spare bed in my room that night and Neil and Fraser were gonna stay and I went outside the pub and Neil was asleep on the ground so I thought it might be time to go back
but Fraser kinda disappeared

Heineken Helen wrote:Oh yesterday I went back to Zacs to waste some time waiting for my flight - as nobody was still around. This group sat beside me and I could hear they were Irish and I started chatting to them. When they asked what I was doing there and I pointed at the arena and said I came to see Pearl Jam play there last night. One of the guys faces just dropped. He's a really really big fan and was upset to miss out on tickets for dublin and didn't KNOW they were playing there Saturday night and they were even IN Verona. When I showed him my pics I thought he was gonna cry... poor guy!
And when I was checking out of my hotel, there was a couple at reception, him in a Ramones t and her in a PJ oneand we all just smiled at eachother. I saw TWO PJ tops in Verona airport and we all smiled and I heard people whisper 'Pearl Jam' as I walked past maybe 3 or 4 times. Then I saw an avocado tshirt in Dublin airport too
I was at Florence train station wearing my Fugazi t-shirt and some goth looking punky dude walked past and gave me the thumbs up and mumbled something in Italian. :eek:0 -
