    yes RR :( bollocks i think her work is dull and looks like prints you could buy in Ikea !! she should NOT have won IMO !! , I wanted Phill Collins , love his stuff, after all the whole point is that Turner Prize is for new progressive work like the man himself :rolleyes: but some years they do that , choose someone just b'cos a painter hasnt won for a while and then the person who should have is in next years running and wins it then , kinda like Tracey Emmin not winning with unmade bed but winning the following year. steve mcqueens won with his b&w film it was ace . i'll stop i'm rabbling now :)

    Abts work is a bit boring.... I guess from hearing you guys, seeing her art 'up close and personal' doesn't seem to add much to it! Poo.... maybe next year.. :D

    Guys..... If I had a wishlist of 5 CDs for Christmas, which ones should they be? Just give me a list.. don't question whether I have them or not. I'm sure if you ALL respond, I will be enough for me to choose from. I just don't know what I want. Same with DVDs... I want X-men 3 but besides that, I don't know. I keep on forgetting!

    Just watched Mookie Blaylock at the Off Ramp (1990). Just an audience recording but how sweet... Ed is so audience shy... Stone looks like a mexican jumping bean compared to him!

    i may have it already , we have LOADS of Tim, thats how i got into jeff :) , not overly keen on the very early stuff lil too folky for me , but i think we have all his albums and a few bits of vid too :)

    I've got that. It's pretty poor quality but kind of cool to see Ed performing with the soon to be PJ for the 1st time.
