This reminds me of a time that I visited someone with a fella who was learning Russian and we asked him to write the saying "Get some slack!" in Russian onto our guests dorm door - he was probably being moody. It translated in Russian as "Obtain a quantity of looseness!"

Sandra (Pegasus), laura, conquita (who were all three at the last drink) were interested. Apparently Gitta (do you remember her from Dublin?) and Carlos (who were both on the ETB) are in london as well... but not too sure.

Caz hasn't been around for ages!!! Not sure if Heather has access to a pc!!!! Need to text these ladies!

oops, i see there's been some confusion.
It's not that Carlos (Mexican), it's Portuguese Carlos ...probably far less people know him as he was only at the 2 Lisbon show..but he's very nice.

Just finished a lil msn chat with Heather. She says to say hi to all of you. She's had her op, she's out of the hospital and it would seem she's had the all clear... so no cancer! Naturally sore and everything but she's hoping she'll be able to meet up with us on Saturday, depending on how she feels! :D But she does need to try and stay away from smoke......

hello hello hello!

lol. I got a call from Byrnzie a while ago.. lol. I'm not too sure on what time he'll be over here but I agreed to meet him at the train station! :eek: :rolleyes: and I don't know what he's expecting of Kotka cause he said "ok, I'll meet you at the main train station.." and we've only got one fecking station!! :eek: :D:D maybe this town will prove to be a bit smaller than he expected. lol.


on a heavier note, I had one of the most frightening experiences of my whole life last night.. :eek: I got out of the sauna, dressed up and went into the kitchen to pour myself a nice glass of juice. I got into the kithcen and wondered what was up with me feeling very exhausted and dizzy.. first I figured that maybe I was dehydrated but then again, I had been drinking a lot of water throughout the day.
so I poured the juice and suddenly me eyes went all black and I couldn't see properly. I got a hold of the kitchen counter so I didn't fall over and faint. my head felt really weird - like it was gonna crack and it felt very heavy. I didn't wanna scare my family so I slowly staggered away from the kitchen and into my room cause I felt like lying down.. I could barely see anything or even hold my head up so I lied down on my bed, hoping I wouldn't pass out. after a few minutes I felt better so I slowly got up and walked into the kitchen and livingroom.
I felt fine for the rest of the evening and am completely ok now.
but that really scared the hell outta me! :eek: it's happened to me before a long time ago and I went to see a doctor about it but he couldn't figure out any other reason than stress (and I was very very stressed then!).. I dunno, scary stuff!

Yeh, it was good craic. We met in the Temple Bar on Saturday, me, Keith, Lara, Damien, Jenny, Neil, Gabriel (Brazilian guy who just moved to Dublin), Randall (Aussie guy living in Dublin).

Unfortunately a couple of us were still hungover from the night before and it was a bloody disaster trying to get to the bar... fuckers spilling your drink all over you on the way back and all that crap :mad: but t'was a good night

something similar happened to me a while back, I think I got up and out of bed to quickly and everything kind of blurred out, and I had to grab the doorknob cause I almost fainted and fell over... :eek:
It passed after a few minutes, but my head felt weird and i felt weird for at least a couple of hours after that
