There was this guy who was 1/2 Irish, 1/2 Scottish.
He wanted a drink but he couldn't bring himself to buy one.

    It's official! Finns are odd!.....

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6079852.stm

'There is also a man in the corner of the room singing Elvis Presley's songs in Latin, like Can't Help Falling In Love - or Non adamare non possum.

"The legend of Elvis Presley lives for ever, and it's of course very important to sing Elvis Presley's songs in the Latin language, because Latin is the eternal language," he says.'

Hi guys!!!! What's been happening??? Just quick hello until hopefully this afternoon...

Inlaws gone, daughter here but with friend, but still manic. Also will need to clean again  before H gets here!!!

V - briefly scanned the thread - saw your post on the yurt and Tintangel... Lucky you.... I'd love to stay in a yurt - they're amazing (but then you have a tipi.. not fair) and I LOVE Tintangel. Been there a couple of times.... just love the myths around that castle!

Dunky's back!!! Is it because I was away? Will you disappear again now that I'm back?

Hells... Once you know what you're doing, tell me! :D:D

    Morning all :)

Red I've checked the trains as there are engineering works all weekend. My trains are diverted and take over an hour instead of 30 minutes :o but at least I don't have to use the replacement bus services which would make the 30 minute journey 2 hours. You may want to check whether your area of line is involved.

EDIT: Had a look and think you're OK.

Shit I forgot about train works and such like :( Will probably take me ages to get to London, will have to leave REALLY early I suspect. Nevermind. The thought of alcohol will keep my spirit strong :D

which is technically true... unlike her calling me a skirt wearing hobbit

    1. i dont wear skirts
    2. a hobbit is fictional
    3. it has big feet and is about 2 foot tall.. i have tiny feet and i'm average height
    4. i wear shoes.. hobbits dont
    5. i dont need a 5 cos the first 4 are so great

she may as well have said sari-donning fawn for all the sense it made :)

Thanks Pippa - had a look... I'm OK (for now!). If there's any problems for you getting home, you can always stay at my place. Same for Caz... if you need a place to sleep. OK.. I'm not central london but.... (guess I ought to check on night buses too!!! :D)

I think I have some to Richmond or Twickenham. A taxi from there to my place isn't too expensive. Taxis from central london would be crazy (I seem to remember a taxi from Shepherd's Bush costing in the area of £40!)

Thanks Rita. I have arranged to crash with Heather though but thanks for the offer. Greatly appreciated :D

A Scotsman took a girl for a ride in a taxi. She was so beautiful he could hardly keep his eye on the meter!
