Never listened very much to the Beastie Boys...

I'm not a die hard fan at all but I think they'd be hellishly entertaining :D

Besides, I want to see them play Intergalactic and Sabotage
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I only have a few albums but like you think they'd be great fun. Somehow Fight For Your Right would be an appropriate track for the day

I just wonder if they are even touring because MCA was diagnosed with cancer last summer :( :?
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Q. Which band had a battle with ticketmaster?

    a. soz can't remember who she said

    b. Pearl Jam

    c. REM

 She was so pleased with herself that she knew it ... what have we done to our 'rents that they feel the need to write quiz show questions down

My Mum could probably :? recognise Ed's voice but doesn't know any songs. She is a Foo Fighters addict since I took her to see them though

If Ed & co ever decide Dunk is deserving of his Scotland gig my Mum gets my 10c spare :D ... wonder if 10c would let us have seats? :P

I know my folks know I go stalking a band, but that's about it. My Ma did buy me Immagine in Cornice on DVD though for christmas. I had it already, but it was a huge surprise that they actually do listen sometimes!

Yeah she's quite sweet about it. She's called me a couple of times from the Pearl Jam section of a record shop to check there isn't anything I haven't got

She was also really excited yesterday when I told her I'd got the RATM ticket :)

i think they'll never play Scotland again... and its cos of me slagging off Jeff and his weird long shorts.. or short troosers... whatever they're called.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

This conversation between Pippa, Sian and Jenny would be the same conversation my daughter would have with her mates about me (but different band obviously!). :?

My mum is a bit like that...proper freaks me out when shes asks me to put on some alice in chains in the car.

And her singing to 'daughter' is plain wrong.
