Finally, AndiM will come back to Dublin!

I'm really looking forward to that: Going back to Ireland (and Northern Ireland) next summer after my year abroad in 2007-2008 at NUI Maynooth. It took my some time, but now there's the definite reason for doing that :-), PJ playing there.

assuming i'm allowed out the country :o i'll be looking at flying to Dublin, getting to Belfast somehow and then getting back to London on the 24th.

so before i start looking tomorrow, what are people doing... flying in to Dublin and then out of Belfast for the London show ? is that the cheapest or easiest way to do it ? or is doing a return from Dublin the way to go, just means getting back there from Belfast... sounds a bit mental really now i've just typed it...

right, True Blood's about to start on C4+1 so i'm off to letch, sorry, watch...
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

Me too! And then I realised I already lived here!

The excitement of the day has just gotten the better of me...

I've gotten to like putting things on my credit card over the past few hours.

Which makes the imminence of Christmas an unwelcome and frightening prospect...

I can't wait to pay a whole €2.20 to get into town to see Pearl Jam!

I would recommend you fly to London from Belfast. It'll be just as cheap, and will take less time!

If anyone wants hotel info or the likes, let me know :D And another thing that may prove useful, Bus Aras (the main bus depot) do lockers inside the building, just in case people are coming in straight from the airport and need somewhere to dump stuff!

What would be a good hotel in Belfast? Location wise etc?
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I'll have a bit of a look about for you :) Belfast is pretty small, not anywhere near as big as Dublin is.

A bus from Donegall Sq (which is city centre pretty much) to The Odyssey takes 5 minutes, but goes just once an hour. You can walk it too. http://www.odysseyarena.com/getting-here.html

Did you all get sorted for the shows you wanted?

I got HRC. Will try for two tickets for Dublin in the general sale. If I don't get them, I will come and beg here. As Rob wants to come, we will need a hotel.... any suggestions near the 02? (If he wasn't coming, I would be asking for bed/sofa/floor space which, by the way, I have for HRC). I will have some space for those needing a place to crash in London. I live in Twickenham - not central London, but not too much hassle to get to HRC.

We're exactly the same! God bless selling our souls to credit card companies!
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I was thinking this too, only would there actually be many people around on a Monday night in Dublin? All the pubs close at half 11, then it's only niteclubs open.

You'd have to ask Stankratz about getting Pearl Jem in ;) I'm sure if we got something sorted, we could get Phantom to announce it a time or two, if donations were going to the Wishlist Foundation. Ian Dempsey and Paul McClune seem to like PJ too, so I'm sure they'd read out a text or two if we asked! We'd also need people to donate merch, albums etc for the cause as well as get Wishlist stuff sent over (the tshirts and other random goodies they sell) - could be worth speaking with FoxyMop about that one.

As for location - somewhere central! Flowing Tide, Bruxies, Foggy Dew, the bar in Whelans...

    good morning all. :)

pre-party/fundraiser sounds like a great idea! I know I'll probably be in Dublin a day or two before the gig. :D

I woke up today with the thought "ow! I need to clip miss kitty's claws soon!" as she was (very lovingly, mind you) smacking my face in. then as soon as I opened the 'puter, I had to check my order history. :D

well done you lot... I'm kinda glad i didnt have to go through all that shit again!

    see you in London 8-)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I'm not very sure about going to London this time. :? I don't know why exactly.

I hate having to decide now what I'm gonna do six months later. I can barely decide what I wanna do next week!
