    I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

    ...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

    Try for the Crowne Plaza, closest to the Joe or the Double Tree hotel. No good public transport, except the People Mover which does a loop around downtown, which is nice to get you to Greektown.

    I've already booked at the Doubletree! It looked like it was closer to the bars judging by online. I'm hoping there's a pre- and after party somewhere nearby. I scored GA on this one, the only city I put in for.

    Sorry to those that didn't get, but my second GA ticket is spoken for, but I'm sure we will see you in the pit. Good luck

    Gutted that I got completely shut out yesterday.. but hoping for the best tomorrow morning! I was upper bowl side stage last year in London courtesy of the general sale and still had a blast. Hopeful I can wind up with something!

    Same here, but I need two... Everybody is getting so excited. This is awesome. Maybe us locals who lost out can make an information stand on the outside of the venue to give everybody directions on Detroit. Maybe we catch a couple of tunes there :P Sorry, still bummed.

    Thanks. It just seems like the people who actually have Detroit spares will only trade them for other tickets. But i'm trying to stay positive.
