From their latest FB post, it sounds like the Bridge School is getting tired of all the questions about when the lineup is announced/tickets go on sale. It's been confirmed that the rumored September 13 on sale date is from last year.

I'm really surprised there haven't been more rumors about who is playing so far. I've seen Phish rumored because they'll be in the area.

It feels like every year the lineup gets released later. I think for whatever reason they haven't been able to get huge acts like they once did. Just look at the lineups post 2006, they are just not that great. Outside of 2011 which was loaded. At this point I wish they would just go with less bands and longer sets. How cool would a PJ and Neil show be? Acoustic versions of Mirrorball songs and a full two hours of both Neil and PJ. Maybe a warmup like Jack Johnson for 45 minutes or so. Never thought I would say this but Bridge School has started to feel tired over the past 7 or 8 years. Time to mix it up with a different format.

I hear what you're saying, but I like discovering bands or solo artists at Bridge that I wouldn't necessarily listen to. Bridge is definitely a different sort of animal, and the changes you suggest will make it just like any other concert out there.

I fully agree! That's actually what I posted on their wall yesterday when they asked who the public wants to see, I said just PJ and Neil, playing all day.

While I see what darthvedder is saying about discovering new bands, I kind of feel like that's best for other festivals. I get that the PJ demographic is quite old, so they may not get out to Coachella, SXSW, ACL, or Outside Lands, but I would prefer to discover young bands in those festivals where there is such a seamless, smooth transition between bands and multiple stages, as opposed to Bridge where there is only one stage, and so much time is spent moving and setting up gear.

Less bands, more music! (PJ, SG, Jack White & Neil would be ideal for me)
