I put in for reserved seating...I'm hoping with my 15 year old membership number we'll have prime seats on the first risers.
When they played Memphis in 2000...with a number just a year old, we have 3rd row in front of Mike.

Yeah, im debating on maybe changing mine to reserved. I do think there is a high chance those who dont get picked gor GA will def get Reserved tickets.
And so you see, I have come to doubt All that I once held as true I stand alone without beliefs The only truth I know is you.
I thought the odds are based on TOTAL number of entries for a particular show REGARDLESS of how you list them priority wise. I believe that the "odds" page is based on ALL entries for that show, NOT based on #1 priority entries ONLY.

I'm a lifelong Memphian, Happy to provide travel suggestions or advice to anyone.
Nicest hotels in downtown Memphis: Peabody, Madison, Westin ($200+ per night) If you can afford it, the Westin is, by far, the best option as it is literally right across the street from FedExForum and is the newest. Second choice would be the Madison. It is within walking distance and is a super cool place to stay. The Peabody is close too if you want the whole "old grand hotel" experience.
As mentioned by another poster, the Hampton Inn & Suites Beale Street is the next closest hotel to the Westin. I would also consider the DoubleTree and Holiday Inn which are just a few blocks away and at same intersection as the Peabody. The Residence Inn, Springhill Suites, and Courtyard by Marriott are other chain hotels within 5 or 6 blocks walking distance. Of course, the Main Street Trolley can shorten the walk.
There are other hotels within a reasonable driving distance of downtown (15-20 minutes), mainly in East Memphis. Anyone coming to Memphis is welcome to PM me with questions. I've been living here for almost 40 years. Glad PJ is coming back to town. This is the first time I won't have to travel in 14 years!
P.S. FedExForum has amazing acoustics. The Memphis Grizzlies are widely known as having the best sound system and music experience in the NBA. The building gets SUPER loud and will be a great venue for a PJ show. Just hoping we pack it out!

if i was you i would go for GA #1 and reserved as #2 (or 3, or even lower really) and then if you miss GA then you will get reserved... if my GF wasnt 5'3 we would be going for GA as our #1 all day and reserved #2 since reserved seems like a lock even as your 3rd or 4th choice
i think Charlottesville reserved was my #4 last tour and won that easily since i figured not many 10c would be going for that show based on local population and location and i would get tickets no matter where i ranked that show
If you want GA in Memphis, the smartest thing is to put that as #1 then as a back up put reserved as #2 (or lower if you want other shows as well). Putting a 99% odds ticket as your top choice doesn't make any sense if you want other tickets, because that'll still be there for your 2nd or 3rd choice.

Thanks! Leaving GA as 1 and 2 , I figured the second backup besides the lotto is ticketmaster on Friday, so going GA all the way makes the most sense

Ya, your right. Who likes blues or bbq anyways, or streets beginning with the letter B ?..... And don't get me started on the King of so called rock n roll. And did you know that they have a chicken restaurant where you can order a 40oz bottle of booze with your meal (that I definitely didn't go to three times last time I was there) so disgusting........ and not to mention the pyramid they have. I hate pyramids, they belong in the desert.
Good luck everyone! I hope you all get tickets (after mine are secured, of course)

A word of caution- just because it says an amount was charged or not yet charged, is not the whole story. There was some crazy stuff that happened to folks during the Wrigley and 2013 tour lotteries. You don't really know until it says "WON" or "LOST", and not just "ENTERED". Don't get your hopes up or down too far until you see that and/or get the email.
Count my wife and I in. I cant believe that airfare from dc on a direct flight was 143 a ticket!!! Glad that this show was not on everyone's radar. Whats not to love about Memphis? This is going to be a great show!
