Ugh! What an awful tour... My money is on not a single show selling out in the Midwest. They'll need to do a few festivals to make up the lost revenue.

Not sure what your problem is with the Midwest. Eddie was born here as was Bob Dylan and Prince just to name a few musical geniuses...

Your comment that they'll lose revenue playing shows in the Midwest reveals you're thoughts are illogical.

I personally like the Midwest but lumping Prince in with BD and EV....I just threw up.

Cincy here we come -- cannot wait!

The more I think about it, the more I feel like these sets are going to be stepped up even another notch. I just hope the shorter festival shows are not "greatest hits" shows.

Ed knows what he is doing. There will be nuggets for the diehards, its just a question of how many.

Look what they just did in Europe. These shows are going to be nuts. Don't doubt this band. They are on fire since last fall. If an "Evening With" gig is scheduled anywhere you can possibly get to, then get there. Who knows what the future holds? The time is now. Don't miss it.

This, having them blow my mind in Stockholm a month ago, is why I'm travelling solo from Sweden to do the whole tour. I don't even have tickets to all the gigs yet. If anyone has a decent spare ticket …

You're right, cutz. I just happen to have the opportunity to do this kind of thing this fall, and don't count on being able to later, so if it's possible to get a ticket to each show I'll take this tour.

While it's true that the NE cities are closer. I'm pretty optimistic that these shows are going to have a lot of energy. While major cities provide a lot of interesting food/art/culture...the small cities really tend to shine when big events like these come through town. Personally I would never go to Moline w/o PJ, but now I'm getting stoked about travelling along the Mississippi all the way from Memphis up to St. Paul. In big cities it often feels like the excitement of the show gets overshadowed by large populations/other events in the cities, but in the small towns, the energy/excitement around the town is usually bursting at the seems! I AM STOKED!

    CHECK THIS OUT!!!
Oct 09 Pinnacle Bank Arena Lincoln, NE Tickets & More...
Oct 10 Pinnacle Bank Arena Lincoln, NE
THIS IS VERY INTERESTING!!! It does make sense though since they will pry play Austin on Sunday and dont have to be in Memphis until Tuesday. I'm sure this is wrong or it hasn't been announced yet but how fortunate "The Fly Over State" would be if this happened. Just giving you all a heads up that their could be a "second show"...doubt it though.

Think they play 3 nights in-a-row?
Just announced at that arena in Lincoln on oct 10th is that mega-church knob, Joel Osteen. Sorry, no surprise show.
Hahaha, I'm staying over Lincoln on Friday night. Maybe I'll go to the prayer revival to repent for my Thursday night sins. That's hilarious.
