how come there's no mention of the American Spring with 10 MILLION people?

Oh wait... they only got 150 people and just made fools of themselves... yet again proving that while the Tea People think they're the majority when they're really just a small group of twits who most just look at as buffoons.

I think there more people showed up at my neice's elementary school piano recital than showed up over in D.C.
    ...
and the recital was in 103 degree heat and in the raging wild fire zone out here.
    ...
I think the event organizers should look on the bright side... next time, they can book the Dunkin' Donuts down the street from the White House to hold their next conference. Plus, i'm pretty sure they'll each get a free donut hole for every order over 10 dollars.

    This is from their WebSite:
    Concept of Operations:
Phase 1 - Field millions, as many as ten million, patriots who will assemble in a peaceful, non-violent, physically unarmed (Spiritually/Constitutionally armed), display of unswerving loyalty to the US Constitution and against the incumbent government leadership in Washington D.C., with the mission to replace with law abiding leadership. Go full-bore, no looking back, steadfast in the mission.

Phase 2 - One million or more of the assembled 10 million must be prepared to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office.
Consistent with the US Constitution, as required, the U.S. Congress will take appropriate action, execute appropriate legislation, deal with vacancies, or U.S. States will appoint replacements for positions vacated consistent with established constitutional requirements.

Phase 3 - Those with the principles of a West, Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, Lee, DeMint, Paul, Gov Walker, Sessions, Gowdy, Jordan, should comprise a tribunal and assume positions of authority to convene investigations, recommend appropriate charges against politicians and government employees to the new U.S. Attorney General appointed by the new President.

*All actions in Phase 2 & 3 will be consistent with the U.S. Constitution.
    ...
I think that they have the right to peaceably assemble... but, they STILL need to secure the legal permits or face the same streams of pepper spray as the Occupy people did.
As for Phase 2. 'Congress will take appropriate action'. We're talking about the U.S. Congress... right? The same ones that have done absolutely nothing for the past 6 years, right? Not the Congress in that 'Stars Wars' movie where they all listened to Jar-Jar Binks, right?
Phase 3: Honey West, Penelope Cruz, Dr. Ben (Casey?), Carson Daly, Tommy Lee, Pepper DeMint-Patty, Paul McCartney, Gov, Walker - Texas Ranger,Curt Gowdy, Michael Jordan are all descent folks, I'm sure... but, running America? Do they want that job? I'm thinking Curt Gowdy might not be able to because I'm pretty sure he died. And isn't Paul McCartney English?
    ...
also... President Obama replaced by Vice President Biden replaced by Speaker of the House Boehner replaced by Senate Pro Temp...
Patrick Leahey, A Democrat from one of them Yankee states would be in charge. The result of this occupation would be Patrick Leahy (D) would be in charge without a single Ameican citizen voting for him as President.
    Democracy. U!-S!-A!!! U!-S!-A!!! U!-S!-A!!!

Exactly. It sounds like it was written by someone who watches Fox News as its sole source for information, yet.. I KNOW this guy isn't stupid... he got as high as the rank of U.S. Army Colonel. He needs to tell us, Who gets to choose this tribunal? Who put the people in charge of choosing the people for the tribunal? Where in the Constitution are these procedures sanctioned and outlined? What if the new presdient, Patrick Leahy... appoints Eric Holder as U.S. Attorney General?
Was this his battle plan? What are the plausible outcomes? The varying scenarios? The test cases?
And if this is his battle plan... and he served 2 tours in Viet Nam.... i hope he didn't have a hand in planning that war. Otherwise, it would all make perfect sense, now.

    Never heard anything about it.

But...whether I agree on a topic or not, the person who resorts to calling others petty or foolish names loses all credibility with me immediately. Just saying.

no offense, and with all due respect, but maybe learn to grow a pair and call things like you see them. Life isn't a precise ballet routine where you avoid stepping lightly on each others toes. Life is a muthabitchin PJ pit...wild and chaotic, with alot of stomping all over each other. If people act foolish and petty, some of us bolder folk will not resist labelling them thusly.

Not sure how that all fits into this thread... unless it was calling them 'wussies' by not answering the Patriot's Call and showing up to oppose the Kenyan lead Facist Regime in a united show of resolve that they are willing to march upon the gates of the House Of Tyranny and voice their dissent in the sacred air of Freedom and Liberty, protected by our Constitution and sealed by the hallowed blood of our armed brethren, even in the face of losing their lives or freedom in doing so...

Also... does anyone else see the irony of someone that declares himself/herself a Patriot who loves the Constitution... but, supports the overthrow and ousting of democratically elected representatives and replacing them with hand picked individuals of their choosing?

yes indeed, but really they can't do that...right ? this kind of thing has been going on for many years in politics I would guess, but I wonder is this the first time that a group has seperated themselfs from all political parties and started their own party ?

    Godfather.

What they are advocating is more like a Coup d'Etat, than Democracy. That is, a small group of people seek to overthrow a government in an illegal manner in a short period of time. So, yes... they cannot do that legally. Our Constitution defines how the government is structured and outlines procedures on how it works. Overthrow in not a Constitutional procedure.
As for Political Parties... there are a ton of them... including a Marijuana Party. Remember, H. Ross Perot ran as an Independent in 1992 and Ralph Nader in 2000. Both were in different political parties and both lost by wide margins.
In my opinion, the only Third Party with a shot is the Libertarian Party... but, that one is full of nut cases that make up too much of its electorate. The Libertarian Party needs more logic based reasonable centrists to join and move their lunatics to the fringes, rather than making up their base.

    word.

I like many Libertarian ideas as Im Green. I would jump on board if there was a shot. It really is scary and hurts the cause when people view Libertarian as a religion that is black and white and Gov't should leave everything completely alone and "the market" will sort it out. Poison 50,000,000 people? Then people wont buy your product.

The problem with the 'Free Maket' fan club members is they never seem to address is the greed of the men that run the market. The whole idea of letting the market decide the rules lets the men running the market decide who pockets the money.
The free market works in favor of the sellers these days... not the buyers. Words like 'honest' and 'trustworthy' no longer exists in the market.
