    I'd like to ask a question to those who do not support gay and lesbians relationships such as I believe the OP. in my family I've a teen who is gay we handle our family as if it is a non issue. No different than any of the other teens we have and all has been fairly well so far.

    For those who oppose this kind of lifestyle how would you handle your situation if you had one of your children who was gay? Beat it out of them, support them or just kick the teen out of the house......what would you do?

    who on earth ever said "beat it out of them" or even throw them to the street ? I (the op) have stated many times that it's not something I want in my life and that I just can wrap my head around the gay thing but I have never said that I would hurt them verbaly or physically, and if my son was gay I would treat him as you trear your child and I would be honest with him and tell him my feelings about homosexuality and tell him that I will always love him no matter what..people are reading into my opinion and views on homosexuality way too much, I am not out to hurt anybody but if my opinion hurts some people then it should not have been brought up on a public form (mine was not the first post on this topic) if somebody is looking to gather a support group at the 10c forum then they will have to accept the opinions that may not co-inside with theirs or find a support group on a pro gay forum.
    I'm sorry if this reply reads a little harsh but it is as honest as I can be on the the topic.
