Excellent NEW CLASH DOC: Audio Amunition!

After having been thoroughly depressed by the "rise and fall of the clash" now playing on Palladia (which was almost a complete negative commentary ) I stumbled onto this one !

Really great album by album review with interviews from all the orginal members ( including Joe!) in contemporary time period (amazing to see a healthy and sober Topper Headon and probably the only documentary where Mick Jones isn't stoned!)

Totally impressive and perfect look behind the scenes for all Clash fanatics (like me!)

I wish Pearl Jam did this format instead of that garbled PJ20 hurry up mess!

    Hello Locked, I'm a fellow Clash fanatic and this shows me just how out of touch I am, there was once a time when I would never not already know about something like this LOL! :) So thanks for the heads up! I have heard "Rise and Fall of the Clash" was a bummer, but still told an important part of the story. To date, what is your favorite Clash doc? It would be a toss up for me between "Westway to the World" and the Joe doc "The Future Is Unwritten".

    Ironically, I was supposed to be on my way today to NYC to meet some Clash partners in crime for a Clash focused walking tour of Manhattan given mostly by someone who used to roadie for them (who is a friend of ours). We had to postpone it but they've been on my mind big time today and after I post this, I need to crank the Clash tunes while I work from home today!

    Thanks again for the heads up on this film! :)

    Ok then! Today is Mother's Day, so maybe this will be what I require my family to allow me to do! :)

    Hey, just noticed you're from Boston - by any chance did you see Joe Strummer at the Roxy in '99 or in Worcester in '01? That Worcester show may be the most fun I had at any post-Clash concert ever...

    My uncle in D.C., an old punk in his own right, shared this doc with me via FB today. Figured this had to of been posted here before, so bumping this thread up.
