    whole thing looks better. much easier to follow individual posts and things don't blend together as much. I also like the lights down feature and the collapsible side bar
    it's a fragile thing, this life we lead.

    Now, is it possible to get rid of these new, childish smilies and return to the other options we used to have?!

    I can't really use these because they are too foolish looking!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The collapsible side bar is a very nice option. It is one way of getting those stupid tags that no one cares about or uses off the screen.

    and the sidebar will stay collapsed...

    ...and for anybody not seeing the changes...I hit F5, and it brought up the new changes, so if you miss hitting it, you finally can!

    The sidebar thing is a HUGE improvement! Thanks Kat for mentioning it!

    Omg it's SO MUCH BETTER without the sidebar!!!! you can use the links in the blue header at the top to get back to 'categories' and without the sidebar there it's no where near as much of a cluttered mess. SO AWESOME

    not seeing any change at all. also, the lights down thing isn't working. yes, I cleared my cache/history/etc. hmmm...

    using my Mac on Firefox. thoughts?

    I hesitate to say this because I know I'll get shit for doing doing so but I still prefer the script- too bad it's messed up now. Sorry but that really is my perspective.

    The changes made have only affected the desktop version of the forum as far as I've seen.

    Give it time Brian. Once you get more used to it, I bet you won't mind anymore. Change is hard. ;)

    There is an almost invisible gray scroll bar just to the right of the stupid menu sidebar. Click that and it disappears. An email really needs to be sent out to all members about stuff like this if they're not going to just remove the loathed sidebar altogether, which is what they should do (maybe it's not an option with Vanilla forums though). Members will never figure that out on their own, but it is such a vast improvement without the sidebar, everyone should be let in on the secret of how you get rid of it.

    Was going to complain that it looks the same on my Safari and Firefox browsers on Mac, but logging out and restart browser solved the issue (at least on Safari, which I use the most). Looks great now.

    I came on here just now and all the changes were gone. So I hit F5 and it worked, changes are back! Also I collapsed the blue side bar, wow what a difference, thanks for that.

    No reason for anyone to give you shit. Personally I never messed with the script, but I am happy with the recent changes. Would I still prefer the version prior to that? Probably. But I find the current version to be at least usable, particularly since it's become slightly more customizable, which makes it easier to please more people. Smart move on their part, methinks.

    And @PJSoul I think the only thing I liked about the sidebar is the 'participated' button so u could just see the threads u were already posting in. I would've liked that to be on that top bar but I'm okay without it.
