Oeiras 2010 and Bueno Aires 2011 had awesome crowds too.

I dont even look at how many times ive posted in this thread. LOL Its just an occurrence when the crowd was super memorable. A lot of shows i don't remember things about. I remember this crowd.

Im sure South America has even better crowds but maybe the Spectrum acoustics amplified the loudness. It was insane. A little alarming.

  • PJ20 night one, opening notes was the loudest I've ever heard it. Second place was Kansas City, 2003, during Release. You know which part...

4/28/03 was so unbelievably epic. I've been to 30 shows. This was #1 overall and #1 in crowd performance. The old Spectrum was rockin' that night! I was a Junior in college. 20 years old. Damn...haha.

Was anyone here at the 2006 Barcelona show? Of the 25 or so shows I have been to (all in Europe and Australia) this one was easily the craziest and loudest.
I barely survived on the floor.. Several people around me fainted, it was a rough crowd. For the encore I had to find myself a seat. Totally exhausted!

More than 50,000 in BA compared to 18,000 at the spectrum.

Only thing i can add at this point is that i’ve been to many NBA playoff games in various cities.   This crowd was louder than anything ive ever heard.  Sporting event, concert, etc.   It was LOUD.

I see that Nugs has this show on their streaming service. Does the crowd shine through on the boot?

The greatest performance of Crazy Mary (and the most unexpected) that ive heard.

That had never opened a show before.  It was insane.

I can't believe this was 20 years ago. Easily my favorite PJ show I've been to. It was only my second show so everything still seemed "new," the crowd was on fire, and it was by far the best seats I ever had a PJ show.

wow 20 years. what a great day. I just remember being there early and walking around. blue skies. beautiful day. then 5 vs 1 in bullies with PJ management watching.
had to be a top 5-10 show at the time. the energy, the crowd, the band. the smell of the spectrum!  your feet sticking to the floor!

Going back and looking over the set. Then started checking the overall tour. In that April stretch, leg 1 of that tour, they played 21 shows in 30days of April. That in itself is pretty impressive!

I was 8th row and that place was huge. Eddie was grumpy that night and talked about shitting on little girls heads. Maybe not his best speech.
