How about a timer on the shopping cart?

One minute after mail was sent out, I threw a Coke Bottle Ten in my cart, but decided to buy my wife a shirt, by the time I went to check out, maybe 2 minutes the LP was no longer available. How about a timer like tickets on the cart?

Tired of seeing this stuff on ebay at ridiculous prices..

I had the same issue several times, although I didn't order anything else. I just clicked next to get to the point of entering my credit card info. Seriously, if it's in your cart, it should be held for x minutes. It's not a difficult code change...

Or if it's too difficult to create the timer, then do limited releases like 10C tickets. You sign up and a random drawing picks the winners.. Come on, it's easy to see resellers are taking a good portion of limited releases. If they are not for resale, then a drawing would help police that policy. I don't mind people selling their collections, but that's not whats happening when they show up on ebay the day they are released.

Let's not kid anyone here, an intern with moderate computer use could create a shopping cart timer...
