Big Green Coach

Has anyone used these guys before? We live in London so are thinking about purchasing for MK, but don't want to get there late or have to leave early. Website says we'll arrive back in London 23:15 but it also says they wait until all music is finished?

Have read a lot of bad reviews on line.

Anyone?

Good topic, as i'm wondering what's the best way to commute from and to London on the concert day. What are the alternatives, in particular, to come back to London around about midnight?

    Thanks Londoners, for any hint/advice.

Never seen a pj show which ended at 23.15 !! good luck ! if you use the Big Green Coach, i think you'll have to leave before the end... don't hope for you

Looks like there is a train leaving MK and heading back to London at 12:30 am, and the next one isn't until 3:40 am. Station is about 30 min walk from the bowl (I've never been to the bowl, just the station). Tickets are cheap if you buy them now.

MK sucks so it's not worth it to try and find a hotel.

Bus would be easier but I don't trust it.

We've booked the coach. I'm going to trust it because the link is on the homepage here so hopefully the company have been read the riot act and told to look after fans? [-O<
It says they won't leave until the band finishes up - could be bs, but for 30 quid I willing to risk it with the train being our plan B

In fact 1.5 miles after the concert can be tough (i'll be with my 11 y. son...) ... on the other hand i'm not planning to leave the concert before the last note has been played :)
could the taxi or a shuttle between the bowl and the railway be an alternative?

I read somewhere that there is a 10:30pm curfew at the MK Bowl. Take that for what it is but that would make catching a train after the show a guaranteed option, even if the band did break curfew.

right now the return train prices from London are cheaper than green coach.

Furthermore, if the concert starts at 4.00 pm and there's only BRMC as special guest... well there's plenty of time for a 3 hours PJ performance even not breaking the curfew...

The shows I've been to in the UK don't generally last as long as the shows I've been to in the US. Everything shuts down here sooner. Pubs and bars close at 11pm, 12am latest. It's rare to find any business open after midnight in the UK, with the exception of clubs in the centres of the largest cities.

That said, I've just purchased a train ticket. Cheaper, more comfortable, more reliable, and I don't mind a 30 min walk.

I just purchased two Big Green Coach tickets from London.

The ticket says it comes back after the music is finished. The concern I have with the train is (a) the walk (Google map it, it's along a highway or through an unspecified route through a park, in the dark), (b) how many other PJ fans have the same idea of doing a train to save a few bucks vs. the coach that says it guarantees us getting back, and (c) the look on my wife's face if we miss a train back to London because the show went long etc...
