Highest price on Ebeans is 650. I wonder if this will get higher than that. Billboards are popping up less and less.

Not sure if a new benchmark has been set. Didn't a Billboard just sell on Lost Dogs for $550 a couple weeks ago? I am not sure the value has jumped $200+ in the past couple weeks.

Ebeans has a mid 600 one as the high. This one is already up to 769. So a new high mark has already been set with a few hours left to go.

As these pop up less and less often as the years go by, the billboards are only going to climb in price. We should start a pool for when the first one goes for over a grand. I'll take the square for 3/15.

I remember having it in my cart and then cancelling it because $90 was just too steep after all the posters I bought at PJ20. Ugh. Would love a do-over on that one.

That is an insane price for the billboard print.

In all honesty, something seems fishy about the auction. Based on ebay feedback, this print is the first item that the person listing it has sold on the site but people were willing to bid nearly $900 and pay $200 more than the highest previous price. It just doesn't add up for me.

I disagree completely. 35-40,000k attended those shows a day. Only 200-250 copies were made. 98% of these are already at there final destinations. People bid a crazy amounts because the print is beyond rare. It's probably a holy grail print for many also. I honestly think it'll rise and hit 1k and some point in the future.

What suddenly changed that drove the price up 30%?

Also, who spends nearly $900 on a poster in an ebay auction where the lister has NO selling history and NO feedback as a seller?

I think your looking way to much into it. The last 4 were sold on ebeans and they sent for higher amounts each time. The last ebay auction according to ebeans was 3-17-13 for 500. We don't know how the bidding was BIN or auction.

eBay is full of scams and pump and dump schemes.

Not saying the print is not awesome, I know it is because I have one and not to say its not going to be worth 800+ eventually, but a buyer and seller with little feedback pumping it up sounds fishy.. IMHO

I didn't even notice that the buyer also had very little feedback.

I tried to pull the listing back up on ebay but it looks like it may be gone (could not find it in completed or sold listings). Seems very suspect to me...
